The Shasta Regional Transportation Agency (SRTA) has issued a Notice of Funding Availability for the Regional Early Action Planning (REAP) 2.0 Program.
Regional Early Action Planning (REAP 2.0) is a flexible program that seeks to accelerate progress toward our state housing goals and climate commitments through a strengthened partnership between the state, its regions, and local entities. To achieve these goals, REAP 2.0 seeks to:
As SRTA is a planning organization and does not deliver projects, SRTA intends to suballocate its state award to an eligible entity for project/plan delivery. Eligible Entities for the purposes of suballocations may be broadly construed and include, but are not limited to:
The Shasta Region is eligible for a maximum award of $2,243,909.07. SRTA intends to reserve 5% of the award for administrative costs.
