Request for Proposals – On-call Information Technology (IT) Support Services

The Shasta Regional Transportation Agency (SRTA) serves as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA) for the Shasta County region. SRTA studies the region’s transportation needs, plans and programs transportation improvements, and pursues all potential funding sources in partnership with local agencies and Caltrans District 2. SRTA is seeking a qualified consultant to provide monthly service plus on-call task orders for agency information technology (IT) support services for a five-year term. This will be a Fixed Price’ and Time-and-Materials’ contract (see the attached RFP below for more details). The contract will be funded by federal funds. The ideal vendor will provide technical support, strategic planning, system maintenance and backups, 24/7 monitoring of server and end-user systems, hardware and software troubleshooting, assistance with equipment procurement and budget planning, assistance with website hosting and domain management, and documentation and tracking of SRTA’s hardware and software inventory. Questions regarding this RFP are due in writing to SRTA no later than 5:00 P.M. on Friday, May 1, 2015. Proposals are due no later than 5:00 P.M. on Friday, May 15, 2015.
