PROGRAM PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES The Shasta Regional Transportation Agency (SRTA) received grant funds through the State of California’s Sustainable Communities Planning Grant Program to develop and administer a pilot program of development incentives that support implementation of the 2015 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). More specifically, this program seeks to spur certain types of infill and redevelopment projects within designated community centers known as ‘Strategic Growth Areas’. Incentives will be in the form of technical assistance grants to help mitigate the cost of pre-development related activities.
