In April 2024, the SRTA Board of Directors approved the 2024 Shasta Coordinated Transportation Plan (CTP). The 2024 Shasta CTP includes a list of strategies to improve mobility for transit-dependent residents in the region. The plan was developed through a process that includes representatives of the public transit system, private transportation, non-profit transportation, and human services providers, as well as participation by members of the general public. The main goal of this plan is to improve mobility within the Shasta Region (Shasta County and incorporated cities in the county) by enhancing coordination among public, non-profit, and for-profit transportation providers.
